For several years, South Central Public Health District released a regular COVID-19 risk assessment for each of the eight counties in the region. These assessments were based on metrics in a plan approved by the Regional Board of Health in August 2020 and updated in June 2021. The metrics included case data (on a 14-day rolling average), hospital impact, positivity rate, and other epidemiological evidence. The risk assessment also included recommendations from the health district for communities to help mitigate the risk to their families and residents.

SCPHD is no longer issuing risk assessments. The documents below are historical copies of assessments issued for the region. If you have any questions please contact the COVID-19 hotline: 208-737-1138.
