Every other week, South Central Public Health District releases a COVID-19 risk assessment for each of the eight counties in the region. These assessments are based on metrics in a plan approved by the Regional Board of Health in August 2020 and updated in June 2021. The metrics include case data (on a 14-day rolling average), hospital impact, positivity rate, and other epidemiological evidence. The risk assessment also includes recommendations from the health district for communities to help mitigate the risk to their families and residents.
The documents below are historical copies of assessments issued for the region. If you have any questions please contact the COVID-19 hotline: 208-737-1138.
