Arthritis
Arthritis is an umbrella term that encompasses over 120 different diseases, with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia being the most common. Arthritis and other rheumatic conditions affect nearly 70 million Americans, or about one in every six people. Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in America, limiting everyday activities for more than 7 million people. In Idaho, 336,000 people have arthritis; 40,000 of those people live in south central Idaho.

The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program is offered at the Twin Falls Senior Center free of charge. The class is held on Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30-2:30. This is offered through a partnership between Bridgeview Estates and the Twin Falls Senior Center.

The Arthritis Foundation’s Aquatics course is currently being offered for a small fee at the YMCA City Pool in Twin Falls at 9 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

In Indoor Walking program is offered Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15-6:15 p.m., free of charge. The program takes place at the First Christian Church in Twin Falls.
